About Destiny® Financial Solutions

In the early 1990’s, Reuben and Margaret Lomas began with nothing. Between the two of them, their total net worth averaged exactly $0. Doing it tough with five young children and never enough money, they decided there had to be a better way.

After conducting some research into managing household finances, the couple developed a system for helping everyday people to achieve prosperity. In 1994, Destiny® Financial Solutions was conceived.

Between Reuben, a self-taught software developer, and Margaret, a savvy financial strategist, the couple quickly built a strong base of clients who were managing their finances more productively and working toward a more viable future.

Soon after starting the business, Margaret and Reuben commenced a property portfolio of their own. Using commonsense and real world trial and error, the couple formulated a unique approach to the task of debt reduction and property investing, which they shared with their clients.

This privately owned Australian company has today expanded to fourteen branches in six states around Australia, with a long list of successful clients who have established sizeable property portfolios in a relatively short period of time.

The ‘struggle’ of those early years for Margaret and Reuben Lomas has certainly paid off. During a period of approximately 9 years they have accumulated 35 investment properties. The strategies they used to achieve this outcome are taught to Destiny® Financial Solutions Clients around Australia.

Community Contribution

Destiny® Financial Solutions actively contributes to the local communities in which it operates. This contribution is delivered at many levels.

At the business level, Destiny® Financial Solutions is a founding member of the Property Investment Professionals of Australia (PIPA) which allows the company to actively pursue part of its vision - to pioneer and lead the Property Investment Industry. Furthermore, the company started the Destiny® Entrepreneur of the Year Award, which provides a monetary grant and business mentoring for a secondary school student to commence their own business.

Within Destiny® Head Office, all staff are provided with a World Vision child to sponsor. This helps staff to stay focused on the 'important things in life'. Destiny® is much more than a "profit-lust corporation".
